MUSIC PREMIERE: RUTH - Adedire

MUSIC: Adedire – RUTH

Fatoye Elijah Adedire with the stage name Adedire is an Rnb singer who hails from Osun State,Nigeria. Adedire displays his musical prowess in this song his composed and titled RUTH, where he infuses Yoruba, with Pidgin English. Ruth incorporates elements of Rnb and Highlife in its sounds. The song was produced by Jay5 one of Sheba Entertainment producers.

Adedire defies any easy pigeonhole. By turns, he sings a witty song about a lady called RUTH, plays a sweet melody on guitar, and then reaches deep for a soulful expression of his love for her in the song. He tops it all with a fiddle highlife tune – all skillfully blended into a seamless flow. One fan said “Its music from the heart that hits you right between the eyes.”, another said “This is another Adekunle Gold, cant wait to see them sing side by side.”.

Adedire has other songs to his credit, but this is his first official single.

“It’s hard to imagine another artiste on the Rnb scene who combines the same concise, deceptively understated, lyrical insight and sometimes devastating wit with such world-class instrumental prowess.”   Sheba – CEO Sheba Entertainment added.

“Its not just a wealth of musical styles or his smooth and expressive voice that have made Adedire such a fine artiste. His songs, which range from thoughtful to silly to poetic, show that he knows his way around the English language and Nigerian culture just as well as he knows his way around the fretboard.”.
